A passionate urban gardener & composter he is also an active member of La Perla Garden, 105th & Columbus, NY, NY, where he finds sanctuary managing the compost pile and practicing down-to-earth taoist landscaping & ecological restoration. A grandfather, with two granddaughters, he has a special love for children & children's books.
